What are Actinic and OSCommerce?
OSCommerce is free E Commerce software. It is customisable and has all the basic features of an online shop. You can view all your orders and administer it from your web browser and easily add edit and remove your products.Whilst Actinic is not free, it has some major advantages over OSCommerce such as multiple promotion and delivery options and is fully customisable. It can handle more visitors to your site at any one time and is very search engine friendly. This significantly helps you achieve higher rankings on the major search engines. Actinic runs as software on your local PC and orders are downloaded to your own PC which you then process. You can easily add edit and remove your products from the Actinic software.
